AI drug discovery is about to get a public-market test with unusually recognizable backers. Iambic Therapeutics filed for a U.S. IPO on September 21 after raising money from NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA ) and Qatar Investment Authority, and the same day announced a multi-year research collaboration with AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV ). Iambic will use its AI platform to design small-molecule programs across immunology, neuroscience and oncology. The public-stock question is not whether Iambic becomes the next Nvidia.
